About Us
As a mother of two mixed-culture kids, the then part-time language tutor, full-time graphic designer Lei Zarboulas was always thinking about how to keep her kids interested and speaking multiple languages. She wanted to develop products which were fun, imaginative and had cultural content. So Lei conceived of characters with big bean-shaped heads and cute little bodies that lived in a Beanpod, to serve as the basis of these products.
